The person in this position has direct hands-on work with electronic delivery of critical information in the financial aid award process with prospective and continuing students.</p> <p><strong>SUPERVISION RECEIVED:&nbsp;</strong>Reports directly to the Director of Financial Aid.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>SUPERVISION EXERCISED:&nbsp;</strong>The Financial Aid Representative has no supervisory responsibilities.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br> <br><br> <strong>Salary Range</strong>:&nbsp;Full time with Benefits / 40 hours per week / 8 am – 5 pm: some weekends as needed.&nbsp;&nbsp;$35,000-$39,000 per year, depending on education and experience.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> <div class="field field--name-field-responsibilities field--type-text-long field--label-above"> <div class="field--label">Responsibilities</div> <div class="field--item"><p>&nbsp;</p> <ol> <li><strong>Office Management:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong> <ul> <li>Provide first point of contact customer service and phone support for students and parents through walk-ins, phone calls and emails.</li> <li>Make follow-up phone calls to students and parents as needed.</li> <li>Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails and faxes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Coordinate mailings for outgoing correspondence.&nbsp;</li> <li>Monitor office budget and submit invoices for payment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain a calendar of annual processing dates and reporting timelines.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manage social media communications and postings for financial aid office communication.</li> <li>Assist in updating, creating and maintaining financial aid documents annually.&nbsp;</li> <li>Other relevant duties as assigned by the Director of Financial Aid and Vice President for Enrollment Management.&nbsp;<br><br> &nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Admissions Liaison</strong> <ul> <li>Work with the Admissions Processing Team to coordinate incoming new student information using Slate software.&nbsp;</li> <li>Participate in orientation and student move-in day activities.&nbsp;<br><br> &nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Federal processor</strong> <ul> <li>Import and process daily Federal ISIR using the electronic data exchange (EDE), ED Connect and the Central Processing System (COD) website.&nbsp;</li> <li>Review all ISIR SSNs and cross reference with Banner to ensure correct Social Security numbers.
