The Tiffin-Seneca Community Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day celebration is going virtual at 7:00 p.m., January 18, 2021. to get a link to join this celebration. Prior to 7:00 p.m. you will be taken to a Tiffin University weblink on the event. At the time of the event you will be linked to a recording of this virtual event.
Addressing the theme 鈥淪eeking Justice: Make it Fair,鈥 Dr. Trevor Bates, the newly appointed president of Wilmington College, will speak on 鈥淜eep Moving 鈥orward.鈥 Bates was the founding Associate Dean of the Division of Health Sciences, Chair and Director of Athletic Training at 探花精选.
A traditional part of the celebration, this year鈥檚 choral selections include 鈥淲ade in the Water鈥 performed by the masked 探花精选 Concert Choir.
There will also be elementary school children who read their winning essays and the annual Peacemaker鈥檚 Award.
This event is sponsored by 探花精选, Tiffin University, the Sisters of St. Francis, and Dr. Robert Huntington and Dr. Susan McCafferty.

Berg Challenge
Collection of items for COVID support (paper towels, all sizes of ziploc bags, laundry soap, dryer sheets, toothpaste, dish soap, hand soap, razors, wash cloths, deodorant, body wash, adult size winter clothing (hats, gloves, socks, coats) Donations can be placed in boxes around campus to be collected on Friday.

Student organizations sponsored a poster board focusing on lesser known African Americans who have made significant contributions. Sponsoring organizations include: Berg Allies, Black Student Union, Catholic Newman Club, Chemistry Club, Disability Advocacy Division, Muslim Student Life, and World Student Union
Be sure to check out all of the poster boards to participate in a quiz at the end of the week. A prize will be awarded for the most correct answers.
