At the time I thought I was OK and had everything together but people are so ignorant at that age. Even though I had a lot of experience prior to that and knew what I had to do, I was still so inexperienced.

I like anything with an adventure. You can label it as landscape photography, but it鈥檚 anything where I have to walk through this or climb up this to get to that. My photography allows me to be adventurous.

I started getting prepublication books this way and fell in love with them. I鈥檓 often one of the first people to read a book and by the time it gets published, I can hopefully meet the author or get an autographed version.

I grew up in Montr茅al in a truly bilingual family. My father always spoke English to me and my mother always spoke French.

To me, if I can鈥檛 do it to its fullest, I don鈥檛 want to do it. I don鈥檛 want to be on the sidelines. I wasn鈥檛 able to do it to my fullest potential so I had to part with it.

So, yeah, I watched my team win a championship on a small TV on the Texas-Mexico border.

Co-owner, along with her husband, Brad, of Tiffin Aire Inc. The Newmans take great pride in being a family-owned and operated business that was founded in 1968 by Kim鈥檚 parents, Dwight and Jeanne Gnepper, with only three employees. You never know when it could happen. Older kids and adults know what they can have and what could happen to them. My little guy could see a peanut on the floor, pick it up and eat it.

I have an amazing group of friends who are strong, independent women who know exactly what they want. They鈥檙e fierce. They鈥檙e ambitious. They鈥檙e so loving and kind. They inspire me to be more than I am.

It鈥檚 very non-specific. I like it because every card has a different meaning to someone. You can get a lot deeper meaning than what you think going into the reading.

I like to try to do surprises but I鈥檓 always paranoid that she鈥檚 on to me, so I threw her false clues.

This is the most selfless thing he could鈥檝e done for me. We moved all the way back to his hometown, got all settled, and he鈥檚 just willing to give that all up for me.

It literally just blew my mind, like the amount that was going on at one time. I was just like a kid in a candy store.

The thing is, I still think I鈥檓 26 years old. I never imagined that getting older happened so fast. Seriously, so it鈥檚 getting harder and harder to convince people that I鈥檓 26 when my one son is 30 and they have a 2-year-old child.

I always find it incredibly off-putting when I鈥檓 the voice of reason, but there is so much concern about how the sky is falling and it鈥檚 the end of liberal democracy as we know it. I understand that but I don鈥檛 think that we are seeing the whole picture. I think that there is a really important lesson to be taken from Buddhism in all of this, and the lesson is that anger is rooted in ignorance, like the inability to understand someone else鈥檚 perspective

We moved out to Ohio and I got a job at NBC in Cleveland. I was producing their 11 p.m. newscast and I did that for a little over a year, and then this job at the MCC opened. Me and my wife thought it would be a great transition and I remember thinking, 鈥淥h, okay, I can handle this. I鈥檝e done big producing.鈥 But teaching is much, much harder than I thought it would be.

In 1999, when I was 2, my parents found out I had type one diabetes. Since I鈥檝e had diabetes for 17 years many people ask me things like 鈥渙h, well how do you do that? I don鈥檛 understand.鈥 But it鈥檚 always been my normal. Just the other day, I was working Cedar Point and I stashed some smarties in one of my pockets and I didn't want to bring bulky juice because if my sugar goes low I need to eat something and shockingly, my sugar went low, and I was sneaking smarties to get my sugar back up.

You start this journey by thinking you know that you鈥檙e fine. I鈥檝e moved around, I鈥檝e traveled. I鈥檝e done things, been places, met people and had new experiences. Then, it actually happens. It hits you like a brick wall. I mean, culture shock going there was tough.
