The wheels started spinning for Jim Reese, 鈥64, when he was asked to chair his 50th Class Reunion Giving Committee about five years ago. A little gentle arm twisting of classmate Bill Minor, and the two were off and running in their quest to lead their class鈥檚 successful reunion giving efforts.

Fellowship supports young alum teacher
First-generation alum Enya Granados did it all during her four years at Heidelberg: internships, student organizations, student research, faculty collaboration. Now, just three months after graduating with her bachelor鈥檚 degree in biology and education, she鈥檚 realized the first step in her dream to be a high school science teacher, and she鈥檚 getting a boost to get her career off on the right foot.

When Tracy Kipfstuhl, 鈥90, was looking for a college, her mother set a limit: She had to choose a school that was no more than 2 hours away from their Cleveland home. Two older sisters went east, to Walsh and Mount Union. But Tracy wanted to be different, maybe even a little defiant. So she went the opposite direction to the school that was two hours to the west and landed at Heidelberg.
