Enjoy a celebration of American song on an October afternoon when old friends Doug McConnell, professor of music and composition at 探花精选, and Bill Reyer, professor emeritus of English and creative writing, combine their gifts and shared interests in a recital for baritone and piano/accordion.
The community is invited to this encore collaboration at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, in Pancoast Recital Hall, Brenneman Music Hall.

Meet and greet fellow alumni, current Heidelberg director of bands Jon Waters and Heidelberg Marching Band members in conjunction with eight other northwest Ohio HS marching bands (four of which are led by 'Berg grads) competing in the Edison Invitational marching band competition.

鈥淭he Penguin Tango,鈥 an original play written by 探花精选 Theatre Director Stephen Svoboda, tackles gay relationships and the meaning of true family in the zany world of the Bremerhaven Zoo. Prior to its international premier at Edinburgh Festival Fringe this summer, 1850 Productions is bringing the show to Gundlach Theatre for a single preview performance April 27.
